I had somewhat of a natural talent that other people did not seem to have. I have always been really, really good with numbers. All of my friends always joked around and called me the human calculator. It was obvious that I was going to be doing something in my life that had to do with numbers. I just was not sure what that was going to be. Should I be an accountant for a huge firm, or should I try to open my own accounting business and take over the world? These were two really good choices that I needed to make as soon as I finished high school.
Weighing My Options
It was not that hard to determine what type of classes I should be taking once I went to college. I just need to decide what I was going to major in. My first thought was a graduate tax program. This meant that I would need to really do some research to make sure that this program was enough to land me the type of job that I wanted. I did not want to be filthy rich, but I did want to be comfortable.
This will also help me and my family on our taxes. You could think of this as one of the perks of the job, but there were other things to consider as well. I needed to know how long I would be attending school, and I needed to know how much school was going to cost. I had not even thought about which school I was going to attend just yet. I knew that focusing on these items would kind of help me make my decision pretty easily.
Researching Schools
I knew that I had a little bit of work ahead of me, but I was up for the challenge. It would be easy, and fun to pick the right school. I started looking locally because I was not sure if I really wanted to do all that much traveling. If I stayed local, then it would be much easier for me. I really needed to make sure that the school provided a good llm taxation course. This was my number one priority because as it turns out, I did want to study the tax laws. It was very important to me to make sure that I got the best education that I could get.
